If you're meeting "In Ed's office" or the video conference room then you want to go to the first floor of HSB. If you're meeting in a seminar room then be careful to figure out whether you're going to the one in town (BMU/BCNI/SWHB) or at HSB.

There are lots of places you may need to go for meetings while you're a member of the BMU.

Here are a few helpful links.

BMU and BCNI

The BMU is the Brain Mapping Unit and the BCNI is the Behavioural and Clinical Neuroscience Institute.

They are both located at the Downing Site in the Sir William Hardy Building (SWHB).

There are lots of doors to the SWHB. The BMU is the door on the left where the yellow arrow is pointing on this map and the BCNI is the door on the right.

If in doubt between the BMU and the BCNI go to the BCNI. There are comfy chairs in the foyer and that's where the seminar room is located. There's also usually someone at the front desk who can answer your questions.

Butterfield Cafe

As we work in an open plan environment at the BMU, and the seminar room is often booked, you may meet at the Butterfield Cafe which is part of Downing College but open to anyone.

They have eduroam and University of Cambridge wifi (née Lapwing).

HSB

Much of the Department of Psychiatry is based at the Herchel Smith Building (HSB) for Brain and Mind Sciences on the Forvie Site at Addenbrooke's hospital. Here's a handy dandy guide to help you find your way.

If you're meeting "In Ed's office" or the video conference room then you want to go to the first floor of HSB. If you're meeting in a seminar room then be careful to figure out whether you're going to the one in town (BMU/BCNI/SWHB) or at HSB.

Douglas House

The Autism Research Centre and the Developmental Psychiatry Group are based at Douglas House on Trumpington Road. Here's a handy dandy guide to help you find your way.
