Plant leaves are anatomically complex, but structured in ways that can be used to make a (simplified) digital model. In this project your goal will be to render a 3D model of a plant growing in real-time, with properties such as leaf area and weight calibrated against real plants, using deep learning networks to extract the relevant properties from laboratory time-lapse photography of the growing plant.
