This programme funded by the Arts Council of England with AHRC was developed by Bronac Ferran, building on findings from the Crucible pilot programme of New Technology Arts Fellowships. The national programme included 35 Fellowships around the UK, with regular contact between the individual projects and reflective sharing of collaborative experiences coordinated by James Leach
Several of the fellowships were hosted in Cambridge, with connections to larger programmes of Crucible work:
- Wayne MacGregor working with Roz McCarthy on the Choreography and Cognition project
- Alejandro Vinao working with Ian Cross
- Simon Biggs working with Eugene Terentjev on the Reactive materials in public art project
