This national programme of experimental collaborations was jointly funded by the Arts Council of England and the Arts and Humanities Research Council.

The national programme also included an explicitly reflective component, coordinated by James Leach, that brought all collaborators together in Cambridge for intensive workshops during which they were able to share and reflect on their experiences and the nature of the programme.
