CoDE is a research centre at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge, with many links to the Crucible network via shared membership, collaborative projects and geographic proximity.

CoDE was founded by Jussi Parikka and Samantha Rayner.

Crucible and CoDE together proposed to host the national hub for digital culture research in Cambridge. The proposal was shortlisted for funding in 2009, but the eventual funding decision was that there would be no research hub dedicated to digital culture research.
