Dawn is an anthropologist at Intel in Portland, Oregon and was trained in the Department of Social Anthropology at Cambridge, where her PhD was funded by BT. She has interests in discourses of 'the technological', cultural notions of time, migration, mobility and border spaces, and gender and technology. She has done research in Russia and the UK.
