This strategic proposal was created by members of the Global Challenges Initiative, led by Alan Blackwell.

The objective is to reconfigure artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies with leadership from young African researchers.

It builds on existing programmes of work including Data Science Africa, and the Deep Learning Indaba.

Key collaborators include Keith Breckenridge, Manj Sandhu, Adrian Weller, Sharath Srinivasan, Ella McPherson, Rob Procter and Marc Deisenroth
