François was founder and director of the Cambridge University Moving Image Studio (CUMIS), supervising a wide range of PhD students and research projects, and also running the MPhil in Architecture and the Moving Image. He now directs the Cambridge Digital Studio for Research in Design, Visualisation and Communication.
