GCI is a Strategic Research Initiative of the University of Cambridge, originally formed as an initiative of the Cambridge Centre for Global Equality with members of the Crucible Network. GCI is dedicated to research that advances the UN Sustainable Development Goals, for the benefit of the poorer half of the world's population. GCI has a special focus on working with, and advancing the careers of, Early Career Researchers.
