Laura is currently based in Copenhagen, after completing a PhD with Margaret Burnett at Oregon State University on Gender HCI.

During a summer research project in Cambridge, she explored end-user programming research questions related to tinkering (with Alan Blackwell) and self-efficacy (with David Good).

She is advising a project exploring gender design perspectives in physical product design, and extending these to interactive products.
