This was an early experiment encouraging people to monitor and compare their energy consumption. It emphasised comparisons between personal energy consumption at home and at work, and also provided graphs to visualise comparisons between groups of friends, or between different time periods in their own house, in response to experimental changes.

ReadYourMeter.org was used as a case study for a workshop on the application of contemporary critical philosophy to technology design:
