This event in the Cambridge university series of Horizon seminars primarily presented current research in machine learning and neuroscience, with a focus on the University Cognitive Systems Engineering initiative, and on the work of the Machine Learning group at Microsoft Research Cambridge. Crucible contributions contextualised these scientific themes within the social environments of the organisations in which such research is done.
