Booking a room at HSB through MICAD

MICAD

MICAD is the University's central room booking service. You can access it here and find some instructions here: File:Micad Users Guide.pdf.

The first time you use MICAD you'll have to set up an account using your CRS ID.

At time of writing (September 2014) this service is pretty buggy. Specifically, narrow searching doesn't work so I'd strongly suggest that you click also show alternatives and scroll through the list to find the room you're looking for.

Note too that this link does not work outside the University firewall. Boooo.


Edit: asof November 2019 the HSB is now booked through "Booker" and no longer MICAD.

HSB Seminar Room

HSB seminar room is the large downstairs room and known within MICAD as:

  • Addenbrookes Site,H
  • Herchel Smith Building ,H139
  • 142 Seminar Room,H139-00-0034
  • T03: Class/seminar/teaching room

This room can hold up to 48 people and has a projector.

HSB Video Conference Room

HSB video conference room is the large downstairs room and known within MICAD as:

  • Addenbrookes Site,H
  • Herchel Smith Building ,H139
  • 201 Meeting Room,H139-01-0002
  • D03: Meeting/Commitee room (sic)

This room can hold up to 8 people and has a projector.
