Six month project carried out by Rachel Drury, as a visiting researcher from Arts Council England at the University of Cambridge Computer Laboratory.

The object was to explore ways of enhancing publicly engaged creative experimentation in Cambridge. Is there the potential for Cambridge to become a centre for publicly engaged creative experimentation involving collaboration between the arts and technology sectors?

Aims

1. To develop a sustainable approach to collaboration between the professional arts and technology sectors in Cambridge, building on the City’s USP as a globally important centre for technology innovation.

2. To support professional artists and arts organisations to build their capacity and confidence in working with technology, leading to new experimental, creative practice that engages with the public
