This forum established by Alan Blackwell pre-dated the creation of the Crucible network, but established some of the later working practices for Crucible. Collaborators from Psychology, Music, Architecture, Linguistics, Engineering, Computer Science and History and Philosophy of Science addressed topics related to visual representation from a range of theoretical and methodological perspectives.
