Notifying attendees of changes

Can I notify all attendees of a change to my Talk listing, e.g. a change of time or venue?

Bottom line: there is no supported way to contact all interested parties.

What can I do instead, will any changes filter through to some users?

Please DO make the correction on the website by Editing your Talk. Perhaps use the Special Message field when editing the Talk: This will put a red, highlighted message above the Talk description.

Any changes made will appear in Calendar and RSS feeds in due course: users who have chosen to subscribe to them will have their listings updated, subject to how often their client-side software is configured to check for changes to feeds.

Email reminders: some users may have subscribed to receive email reminders of your Talk; if you are able to make changes before the day of the talk, the updated details will appear in the automatic daily reminder email sent out in the early morning on the day of the Talk. Changes made on the day of the talk will be too late for this.

Note: there is NO support for manually sending any emails to that subscriber list.

For all other cases e.g. someone who has previously browsed the website and decided to attend the talk, without referring back to the website after the correction, there is nothing we can do.
