Arm is creating machine learning and computer vision libraries optimised for processors like the one in your phone. This will allow individuals to train their own neural networks, for example recognising particular vegetables from hundreds of training examples in a video recorded as you move your phone over a bin at the Cambridge Sunday market. The resulting classifier can be used as the front end for an application that recognises the vegetables on sale, identifies a recipe based on them, and provides you with a shopping list of the other things you need to buy before you go home to cook.
