Enable remote login

To achieve this the machine needs to be moved onto an OU called RDP Self Manage.

  1. Using remote desktop connect to adsrv01.ad.cl.cam.ac.uk
  2. Start AD Users and Computers
  3. From the menu select Action then Find the machine that needs remote access
  4. Right click on the machine and select Properties then in the window that pops up select the Object tab.

  7. Choose an OU contained within its current location called RDP Self manage
  8. Right click on the computer and select Move...
  9. In the menu that pops up expand the tree below the current location and select the appropriate OU.
  10. Close down AD users and Computers and logout of the AD controller.
