*NON-CL* Key Service Description & Information

Service Desk Call Handling Procedure

  • The Service Desk does not deal with calls about eJournals unless the problem lies with the Raven authentication process itself (see below). An authentication CRSid must have the correct permissions to access an eJournal resource which is the UL's responsibility.
  • Customers can be passed to the Library's Raven Support by giving them the contact details below. RT tickets should then have the Status set to Resolved.

Would you please go to the web page http://www.cam.ac.uk/cs/docs/faq/n15.html and follow the instructions there. They will define where the problem actually lies and give you a route to address it. If it's not your Raven password then you'll probably need to contact the University Library's support team at lib-raven@lists.cam.ac.uk who are responsible for eJournal access which is authenticated by Raven. The University Computing Service only provides the Raven authentication mechanism which confirms who you actually are - what you are allowed to access is controlled elsewhere.
