Innovative design course funded by the Cambridge-MIT Institute, jointly taught between departments of Architecture, Urban Planning and Land Economy at Cambridge and MIT. Lectures and seminars were presented by video link, and practical design classes and presentations involved joint teams of students from each institution, collaborating remotely.

A linked evaluation project assessed the use of technology, and the resulting social dynamics of the distributed design studio.
