Service Desk Call Handling Procedure

  • RT tickets can be escalated to the AV team by changing the Queue to av-admin with the Owner set to Nobody and the Status set to new AND email Brian Jones using bdj23@cam.ac.uk outside of RT so he's aware. Tell the requestor:
    I am passing this request over to the AV team who, I'm sure, will be in contact shortly.

To book meeting and teaching rooms

Requesters should be referred to check out the availability at the Meeting and teaching rooms page at http://www.cl.cam.ac.uk/local/wgb/meetingrooms.html and told they must booked in advance via reception@cl.cam.ac.uk. Note that there may not be assistance available on any particular day - we advise anyone who is not familiar with the AV systems to visit beforehand.
